Instead of caring about the problems of European people, Brussels continues to attack Hungary

At today’s plenary session of the European Parliament, the extraordinary meeting of the European Council last week regarding financial instruments for Ukraine was discussed. However, Members of the European Parliament again used the agenda item solely to slander Viktor Orbán and Hungary, instead of making substantive contributions. MEP Tamás Deutsch, Head of the Fidesz Delegation to the EP, emphasised in his speech that Brussels bureaucrats, instead of dealing with the serious problems affecting the everyday lives of European people, continue to be preoccupied with the constant blackmail of Hungary. Brussels’ political left and bureaucracy attack Hungary, which — unlike them — is able to protect its borders and was able to protect Hungarian farmers, for example, by banning the import of Ukrainian grain, in the absence of a decision from Brussels. It’s clearer than daylight, change is needed in Brussels!

In his speech, delegation leader MEP Tamás Deutsch recalled that across Europe, hundreds of thousands of European farmers are protesting on the streets against Brussels’ decisions that are destroying farm owners and agriculture. Millions of illegal migrants are flooding into Europe through the Union’s defenseless external borders. Brussels and its bureaucrats are neck-deep in corruption cases. Brussels, led by the European Parliament, is the capital of corruption. He pointed out that Brussels bureaucrats, instead of dealing with the serious problems affecting the everyday lives of European people, continue to be preoccupied with the constant blackmail of Hungary.

He emphasised that the Brussels bureaucracy attacks Hungary which – unlike them – is able to protect its borders, Hungary which was able to protect Hungarian farmers, for example by banning the import of Ukrainian grain, in the absence of a decision from Brussels. “In June, not only us Hungarians, but people all over Europe will have the opportunity to finally send away the corrupt and useless Brussels bureaucrats,” the Head of the Delegation concluded.
