Green Light to the introduction of eCall 2015. 04. 28. The European Parliament approved the second reading of the proposal on eCall in-vehicle systems. According to plans, every new car and light-duty vehicle will be equipped with the system by 2018, which automatically dials 112 in the event of serious road accidents and gives GPS information to emergency agencies. Fidesz MEPs welcomed the vote and urged Member States to modernise their infrastructure to help the system work efficiently.

Fidesz MEP Ádám Kósa, speaking before a plenary session of the European Parliament, presented to the European Commission the Hungarian approach to encouraging the hiring of people with disabilities. Using a quota system, targeted assistance and tax exemptions, the Hungarian practice has produced a doubling in the number of people with disabilities employed, reaching 80 thousand. It could serve as an exemplary model for Europe.
