Új megközelítés az Európai Parlament oldaláról a közmunka programok megítélése kapcsán

Az Európai Parlament mai plenáris ülése támogatta Kósa Ádám fideszes EP-képviselő módosító indítványát, amelyben Kósa azt kéri az Európai Bizottságtól, hogy vizsgálja felül a közmunkával kapcsolatosa eddigi álláspontját. Kósa szerint külön erőfeszítéseket kell tenni annak érdekében, hogy a szakképzettséggel nem rendelkező vagy nagyon alacsonyan iskolázott emberek is mihamarabb munkát találjanak. A hosszú távú munkanélküliség - különösen a leszakadó térségekben - leginkább azokat az embereket sújtja, akik alapfokú tudás hiányában szakmát sem tudnak tanulni.

Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök nemrégiben egy rádióinterjúban nyilatkozta, hogy az EU-USA megállapodás tervezett vitarendezési eljárását (ISDS) az akkor tárgyalóasztalon levő formájában Magyarország nem tudja elfogadni. Az EP mai szavazásán ezzel egybehangzó álláspontot foglalt el a Fidesz és a KDNP képviselőinek támogatásával amikor megszavazta a néppárt és a szocialisták közös javaslatát.

Megvédjük a magyar tejtermelőket a tejpiac negatív hatásaitól

"A tejkvóta áprilisi megszűnését követően a tejtermelők teljes mértékben ki vannak téve a tejárak világpiaci ingadozásának és a nemzetközi élelmiszerláncok sok esetben a termelőket megkárosító kereskedelmi gyakorlatának. Az Európai Uniónak ezért kiemelten szükséges foglalkoznia a tejtermelők érdekeinek a védelmével és a tejágazat azonnali megerősítésével" – hívta fel a figyelmet Erdős Norbert fideszes EP-képviselő Strasbourgban. Az Európai Parlament a mai napon szavazott az európai uniós tejágazat kilátásairól szóló jelentésről. Komoly magyar siker, hogy sikerült beemelni az intervenciós árak kiigazítására és az export-visszatérítések ideiglenes jelleggel történő aktiválására vonatkozó magyar kérelmet.

Deafblind people should no longer be invisible citizens of Europe, according to participants in a conference on the situation of deafblind people in Europe. MEPs Ádám Kósa, Helga Stevens, Davor Ivo Stier hosted the event, which took place in Brussels last week. If statistics continue to ignore deafblind people, it will remain impossible to know how many citizens are affected, and therefore, impossible to provide the necessary protection and help to these people.

EPP Bureau Meeting in Hungary: Debates Strengthen Our Partnership

At our invitation, the European People’s Party Group chose Budapest as the site for last week’s bureau meeting. When Hungary has been the subject of debate recently in the European Parliament, the positive outcome of the visit came at an important time. The session focused on pressing European matters, particularly economic growth, unemployment and immigration, and its outcomes were encouraging, especially on the issues of tax fairness and data protection.
