According to today’s decision by the European Court of Justice, Hungary will be fined a one-time amount of 200 million euros, plus an additional one million euros per day, for not allowing illegal migrants into the country. “The decision is outrageous and unacceptable. We will not yield to the financial blackmail of Brussels bureaucrats! We will protect the borders and defend the Hungarian people!” emphasised MEP Tamás Deutsch in relation to the ruling.
In its judgment published today, the Court of Justice of the European Union has ordered Hungary to pay 200 million euros and an additional one million euros for each day of delay for not allowing illegal migrants within its borders. This is outrageous and unacceptable.
“The Hungarian people have repeatedly made it clear that they do not want to live in a migrant country. We will not let our country be turned into a migrant country! We will not yield to the financial blackmail of Brussels bureaucrats! We will protect the borders and defend the Hungarian people!” highlighted by MEP Tamás Deutsch.
