Kinga Gál becomes new vice-president of Fidesz

The 29th Fidesz Renewal Congress elected MEP Kinga Gál, President of the Fidesz delegation to the European Parliament, as the party’s vice-president. “It is a great honour for me to have received this vote of confidence. We must stand up for our values, our nation and our families, and I am ready to do so”, MEP Kinga Gál said following her election.

On the 29th Fidesz Renewal Congress elected, alongside Lajos Kósa, Gábor Kubatov and Szilárd Németh; MEP Kinga Gál, President of the to the vice-president of Fidesz as the party’s vice-president, with 1040 votes.

Following her election, MEP Kinga Gál said, “I am honoured to be assigned with this task; and to have received this trust, as this is a key time. At stake is the strengthening of our Christian-based, national and family-centered values, and winning the elections. Strengthened by that, we can channel these values into shaping Europe’s future. We need a strong, successful, new right in Europe, and a victory for Fidesz in Hungary. Because for us, Hungary comes first, as well as the future of Europe”.
