We only support candidates for Commissioners-designate who fully respect national sovereignty and serve the radical change demanded by the European people!

The European Parliament will hold hearings of the Commissioners-designate for the European Commission from 4 to 12 November.

Members of the Hungarian national delegation of the Patriots for Europe Group, the Fidesz-KDNP delegation, will attend all hearings and will be able to ask questions of more than two-thirds of the Commissioners-designate. As members of the Patriots for Europe Group, in line with the will expressed by European citizens in the European Parliament elections, we take the clear position that a radical change is needed in Europe. Europe is in trouble: the continuous escalation of the war in Ukraine threatens with unforeseeable dangers, the EU does not want to stop illegal migration and the Union faces serious competitiveness challenges. The Commissioners-designate must serve the change expected by European citizens. We also expect the future Commissioners not to follow the anti-democratic practices of the left-liberal majority of the European Parliament and to stand up against the cordon sanitaire. Finally, Commissioners-designate must guarantee that they treat Member States as partners and not adversaries, and that national sovereignty is fully respected.
