The European Parliament’s migration proposals again push for the mandatory distribution of migrants

2023. 04. 20.

“The European Parliament’s proposals on migration are completely inadequate to solve the migration problem and must therefore be rejected without delay”, Fidesz MEP Balázs Hidvéghi said at the European Parliament’s plenary session on Thursday. He said the proposals would encourage illegal migration as well as lead to mass abuses and new migration crises.

MEP Balázs Hidvéghi, on behalf of the Fidesz delegation to the European Parliament, in cooperation with the European Conservatives and Reformists and the Identity and Democracy Groups, has taken the initiative to debate and rethink the European migration proposals.

According to MEP Balázs Hidvéghi, the proposals impose the same old bad solutions, such as the mandatory distribution of migrants, and will lead to another spectacular failure for Brussels in its migration management.

According to the MEP, today’s vote in the European Parliament showed once again that the MEPs of the Hungarian left support illegal immigration and the mandatory distribution of migrants, as they voted in favour of the pro-immigration proposals.
