The EP’s latest report is dictated by Soros organizations

The Fidesz delegation to the European Parliament rejects that Brussels is once again abusing the concept of the rule of law by using it as a pretext for ideological attacks against Hungary and Poland. Fidesz MEPs Kinga Gál and Balázs Hidvéghi pointed out that the European Parliament’s text assessing the European Commission’s annual report on the rule of law was dictated by Soros NGOs, so it is not surprising that it contains political attacks against the two countries.

In her speech, Kinga Gál, President of the Fidesz delegation to the European Parliament, underlined that the European Commission’s annual report on the rule of law is in fact calling democratically elected governments to account for its own ideological demands. “The European Parliament is enthusiastically assisting in this and demanding all kinds of sanctions to put pressure on Hungary regarding migration and child protection”, MEP Gál said.

MEP Balázs Hidvéghi said the EP’s report was a loose end. “It makes no secret of the fact that the lies it contains come from Soros organizations. This is just another example of ideological pressure being exerted on those Member States that stand firmly for traditional values”, the MEP underlined.
